I'm a Planner, married to a French husband, living in London.
Born and bred north Londoner now living south of the river. After spending years declaring that I could only live in north London I am surprised by how nice parts of south London can be. Obviously in an ideal world I would be living in a large house over-looking Hampstead Heath, but in my opinion a medium-sized house close to Peckham Rye is a fine alternative, just so long as you dodge the bullets...
I've been working a Strategist for agencies like OgilvyInteractive, JWT, MindShare, Berlin Cameron and Naked for longer than I care to remember. I worked in New York from 1999 - 2005 and loved it. I still miss it and have to get my regular NYC fixes of friends, culture and shopping.
I enjoy observing and analyzing things that are happening in the world. I've done freelance journalism off and on over the years (The FT, Spectator, Mail on Sunday) and this Blog is probably an extension of that.
I work at London advertising agency VCCP where I am a Managing Partner and Head of Digital Strategy. Sometimes I have also been known as Head of Comms Planning. To make life easier usually I just say that I am a Planner.
The opinions expressed on this blog are mine and may not aways reflect the views of VCCP.
