Welcome back Amelia. I hope your holiday was one of those GOOD ones.
I've taken to escaping out of mobile - reception - shot at weekends recently. At first I was a bit (only a bit - I only just worked out how to use a mobile really) disconcerted at not being contactable etc. I was more worried about the shit reception on the TV, and about not being able to easily get an internet connection.
After a few weekends away I now appreciate the fact I don't have these external distractions. It makes me focus on that place more. The spiders, going down the tip, the church bells, village politics.
And also - I am starting to really warm to the radio (even if it is only the inanity of TalkSport)
